WHY DRY SHAVING WITH THE HAIR ERAZOR WORKS BEST

Although the big shaver maufacturers know this fact very well, they hate their customers to know this undeniable but proven biological fact.

 FACT Your skin cells absorb the water in shaving cremes and lotions and also water when washing and showering. Then these cells in the skin (epidermis) will puff up and become "turgid". You will have seen this wrinkled skin effect when you stay in the pool or bath too long. These waterlogged cells cause the skin to swell up and so the skin rides up the shaft of the hair and covers it up so that no blade can reach the botton half of the hair shaft. No shaver made today, can cut the part of the hair that is covered by skin cells, swollen with water. Clearly the blades can then only cut the hair that is not covered by the skin. 

When the skin dries the skin cells lose the excess water and contract leaving the lower part of hair shaft exposed again in a matter of an hour or so. This is why wet shaving causes your skin to feel rough again very quickly.
